Camp Tamarancho French Broom Pull
Join Marin County Fire and the Fire Foundry in supporting wildfire fuel reduction efforts by stopping the spread of French Broom, an invasive species at Camp Tamarancho. We’re looking for volunteers to help with the upcoming Maintenance Day: Saturday, January 10th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Carpool if possible up narrow, winding Iron Springs Road! Driving instructions to the parking area will be shared via email before the event.

The work requires some strength and stamina. Some moderate hiking is required.

Bring work gloves and a water bottle. If you do not have gloves, Marin County Fire will provide them.

Lunch is provided for all who register in advance.

It is recommended volunteers be 14 or older. Anyone younger than 14 should be accompanied by an adult (18+).

All minors are responsible for receiving guardians' permission to participate.

This event will be held rain or shine. Please wear closed toe shoes, bring layers and dress for variable weather conditions.

Registration is mandatory and will close on Thursday, January 8th at 3:00PM.
