BSA Rangemaster Training (Archery, BBgun, Slingshot, Tomahawk)
Our Range & Target Activities at Camp Tamarancho are very popular with all or Scouting youth, especially the Cub Scouts! Here's your chance to attend official rangemaster training, giving you the skills and certification to teach our young Scouts the skills and safety for a fun archery, bb-gun or slingshot experience. The Council Range & Target Activities Committee is planning several range re-certification training sessions for any registered Scout leader, and new volunteers are always welcome!
Come up the hill on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 9:15am for coffee and donuts. The training begins at 9:30am sharp to range certify for BB-gun, Archery, Slingshot and Tomahawk. Individual Range qualifications will be offered at different times of the day so pre-registration is required! Remember to bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and plan to enjoy the day up on beautiful Fairfax Ridge!
Alternately, you can attend on Sunday, October 25 with the same conditions by searching our Council website calendar to register for that event.
