Fellowship of the Golden Spoon Fall Camporee

Join Marin Scouts BSA Troops and Venturers!  Register your patrols of 5-to-8 Scouts to participate in tent camping, campsite cooking, campfire program and much more!  Saturday lunch and evening crackerbarrel are provided for all unit attendees and adult volunteers.

Arrive Friday evening by BACKPACKING up from Fairfax; early check-in is 7-10pm.  Program starts Saturday morning at 8am with regular check-in, an SPL meeting, opening flag ceremony and a safety briefing.  Patrol competition program stations open at 10am including the many challenges from your trek navigating around Middle Earth.  Troops will then return to their campsites to prepare for dinner and the Golden Spoon competition at Sundial picnic area.  Return together at 8pm for the glorious night hike up Mt. Doom (White Hill)!  Sunday there will be awards ceremony and packing out by 11am.

Only $25 per person includes all activities ($125 troop deposit per patrol), Saturday lunch and crackerbarrel, an event patch and wknd camper fees.  More details from our Council Camping Committee can be found here!
