Marin Council Winter Camporee event sponsored by OA Talako Lodge

For all Scouts BSA troops and Venturing BSA crews!

Just $20 per person (Scout youth and adult leaders). This fee includes a hot lunch on Saturday, March 11 at historic Ibach Lodge; camp use fees and a 2023 Klondike patch.  Registration is online only!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Monday, March 6, 2023.

REGISTRATION INFO:

• Each troop or crew may register no more than 2 competition patrols
• Each patrol may include up to 8 Scouts or Venturers
• A limit of 16 patrols can be registered
• More Scouts and adult leaders can participate in snowcamping overnight
• Register (online only) as soon as possible due to limits on number of patrols
• Registration is not complete until registration and payment are received at the council office. Deadline: Monday, March 6, 2023. We will not be able to register any unit onsite at the event.
• Due to the high adventure nature of this event, each attendee must bring a current BSA Health & Medical form, parts A/B for check-in.

ARRIVAL, PARKING, CHECK-IN:

• Winter Parking Instructions @ Camp Marin-Sierra
• Troops/crews may arrive as early as Friday evening, weather and road conditions permitting. Check in is at Ibach Lodge. There are no events on Friday evening.
• Most units will arrive early Saturday morning and leave after check out: 10am Sunday, March 12. Carpooling is required as onsite parking is very limited during winter.
• Official check-in at Camp Marin-Sierra starts at 8am Saturday, March 11.
• Mandatory SM/SPL Meeting at 11:30am Ibach Lodge - Lunch provided for all.
