Internet Rechartering

Welcome to the internet charter renewal process. Below is the link to the tutorials, help files, and internet rechartering itself.

Remember, you cannot access the rechartering option until November 1. Your unit access code is here below. Rechartering is supported by Internet Explorer v.7.0 or higher, and other browsers may not provide full functionality. Sorry, Macs don’t work well with this module.

You may access the tutorials and help files so that you can familiarize yourself with this process. During the month of October, you should be gathering the needed information to complete the recharter process: new youth and adults, members not continuing, and so on.

Included in your unit packet are your most up-to-date roster, fee chart, service center maintenance form, and applications. Even though the recharter process is online, signed applications for new members still need to be submitted with your completed rosters.

Your completed and signed charter renewal rosters are due in our office by the end of the day on Monday, December 3. Please do not be late. With the slowdown in activities in December and people going away, finalizing the process becomes more difficult. Although convenient, please do not bring them to roundtable on Wednesday, December 5. Not only is that late, but with all the activity at roundtable, it is difficult to thoroughly look at everyone's rosters. Of course, you can turn in the completed and signed rosters anytime before December 3.

Internet Rechartering (after Nov. 1)

Timeline:

1—October: Gather information, such as new youth and adult members, those continuing with the unit, those adults changing positions, those dropping from the unit. Use the roster enclosed in your packet as a worksheet. View tutorial and help files by using the above link.

2—November: Log on to internet rechartering using the above link and the access code that was included in your packet by November 1. Make all additions and corrections.

3—December: After you submit online, print out your new roster, have it signed by the appropriate people, and turn in all rosters by the end of the day on Monday, December 3, along with any applications for new youth and adults. Existing youth and adults do not need new applications. Work with the office during December to correct errors and turn in any missing information or paperwork.
